Can anyone challenge Manchester City?

Liverpool look like the obvious team who may push City. I wouldn't rule Utd out though it would be a bit of a surprise if they were to win it.

Going down?

Cardiff (please)
Southampton
Huddersfield

Newcastle start as they mean to continue

the fat Strauss invective takes the TV mega bucks and instead of strengthening, buys House of Fraser instead

I think we know where his priorities lie

Why are we discussing this in August? The football season does not start until September. These are all pre-season matches :strop

The overlaps are greater than ever these days, I can't remember the cricket season starting in early April when I was a lad.

We started playing our pre season friendlies a month ago, and then there are all those teams playing Euro qualifiers in July aswell.

That could well be your hardest game of the season. It'll only get easier than Liverpool away.

Hammers seem to have sent an awful lot money this summer

Benitez will be wishing he'd gone there after all

After a night to sleep on it, no need to be so down.... Liverpool away arguably the toughtest game of the season, so to get that out the way first is good....players need to gel as well, haven't had long together, and Pellegirini is good manager, so im sure will be good season, just a bumpy start...it happens..
