Arsenal defence has not improved with the departure of Wenger.

Pressure on City tomorrow. Only the Saints but they have a new manager and City could do with 3 points.

Like all champions, Man City are just dirty enough to get away with it.

Klopp was asking for trouble when he started with a midfield containing Henderson and Milner. Got totally outplayed in the first half, although they were unlucky not to score when Mane hit the post and the keeper nearly bundled the ball into his own goal. Kompany should have been sent off too.

As soon as he took Milner off early in the second half they were a totally different side and deservedly equalised. They looked like going on to win the game after that and but for Sane getting the luck off the post that Mane didn't get, probably would have done.

I thought Klopp would stick to his attacking principles from the start and chose not to and paid the price. Man C were definitely vulnerable last night after a poor run, and Klopp let them off the hook.

I suppose Liverpool can console themselves with the knowledge that they could afford to lose last night. Man City absolutely had to win. they were dead if they didn't

Both can look forward to resting all their key players and still giving Newcastle a damned good thrashing for a ssip easy 3 points. Man C can look forward to this in just a couple of weeks time... Liverpool know they have this as a banker later in the season if things start to go a bit wrong for them

Which is why Klopp should have gone for the jugular. Liverpool you would think are due a drop in form at some stage and maybe Man C have turned a corner last night after their poor run

Saying that I still hope Liverpool win the title.

Pogba with a great pass to Rashford. A good finish and Manchester United lead Tottenham 1-0.

De Gea is the best keeper in the country.

Best shot stopper for sure.

So many other qualities in a keeper these days, like marshalling your back line, commanding the penalty area and ball distribution. Not sure he's the best at any of those.

Turns out we'll happily sell Callum Wilson to Chelsea for 75m if they are desperate enough.

Simply means we think they are that desperate and more importantly we don't want him to leave.
