In Liverpool's defence they are up against arguably one of the best sides in English league history.

Let say if Liverpool had won one more match...they'd be on for 100 points with only two to play Vs bottom half teams.

6 teams in UEFA history have matched that total at the top level of European football, and two are Welsh professionals playing in an amateur league. The team they are arguably going to lose to are one of those.

To fault them for dropping points is off the charts harsh. If they don't win this year, they'd have won all but one league in English history with their total.....to the team setting the record.

I hate Liverpool but they have been virtually faultless this year. Whoever finishes second should be applauded for a magnificent season.

Liverpool could finish up on 97 points and not be champions. Only once has a team scored more points in a premiership season, and that was Man City last year. If they do get 97 points they will have the 3rd highest premiership points tally, and not be champions. Thats pretty unlucky in my view.

Cardiff lost, c'mon Brighton.

Just when you think one of the teams have a top four spot, they go and lose. I still think Spurs will get top four, but that's mainly down to the others failing.
