I can only do English sadly. I respect my son for living and working in Japan for the past two years

Can your son speak Japanese? Thats crazy hard to learn that!

Ive lived in Norway, Spain and now Belgium, so I speak French, both forms of standardized Norwegian, I can understand Catalan as its very similar to a dialect of Southern France, and my Spanish isnt perfect, but its fine to get by in all but the most complex conversations. Currently learning Dutch (A2 level, so no master, but enough to order things, hold simple conversations). I spent a while working in Russia a long time ago, so know the very basics of that. But then you find that when you know Spanish and French, you can pretty much get Italian when its written. When you know English and Norwegian, you can understand bits of German. When you speak Norwegian, you can pretty much understand Swedish and Danish. Know a bit of Russian, you can get by in Ukraine or Poland.

Wow, that's impressive sussexpob.

My mum spoke fluent French and because of that she could pick up bits of Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.

My son claims he doesn't speak Japanese as well as he should but I think he's being modest. Like yuppie and his Swedish!
:D
Mane scores that crucial away goal for Liverpool.

Matip own goal. Lewandowski was lurking 1-1.

Liverpool make it 4 out of 4 English clubs in the last 8. Pretty impressive to take down Bayern away like that, even if Bayern are not all they once were.

Draw for the next round will be fascinating. Everyone will be hoping to avoid Barca, obviously, but I think any of the remaining teams could beat any others on their day.

As a Spurs fan this is classic Tottenham.

Lull you into a false sense of hope - then get done 2-0 in second leg. It's a dance as old as time

We'll see Prof. I kinda fancy Tottenham here. City are still fighting on 3 fronts, meaning they've been playing twice a week since mid-March, and will continue to right up into May. Even with a squad as strong as theirs, something's got to give. The league title is going down to the wire as Liverpool seem to be being guided by fate.

1-0 isn't a bad result for either team. You'd fancy City to get a couple but all Spurs will need is that away goal.

It was rubbish defending for the spurs goal, three players just stopped assuming it was out. City huffed and puffed, to be fair, they created nothing. Very disappointing match for them.

Poch says he fears Kane's season is over. Alli went off holding his wrist straight (possible break)..... could be critical in the return leg and up coming league game.

Uniteds luck in Europe not lasting so far.

They look a long way from the level of Barcelona.

Been the better team since the goal, but they're gonna need at least three tonight to have a chance of going through.

They have played better as the game goes on, but all the quality is coming from Barcelona so far. Not really understanding why they work the ball into the final third and then have decided to shoot from 30 yards a few times.

Still, I can see them scoring.
