I'm hoping 2 or 3 of our teams will progress. Utd look doomed, unless they sack the 'boring' one, Spurs have a decent draw, but I don't know too much about Dortmund, City should sail through, and Liverpool will imo squeeze past Bayern.

Paris 2-0 up against Manchester United.

Great cross by di Maria. Mbappe just has too much pace for the Manchester United defence.

I am not impressed at the abuse being directed at di Maria.

The VAR decision in the Real game looks mind boggling.... I cant for the life of me work out why the goal was overturned.

Not looking forward to VAR in the premier league next season at all!

How that's deliberate handball for the first penalty I will never know, the referee hadn't given it, so why do the dimwits in some studio thousands of miles away think different?

The guy that was ultimately fouled for the second penalty was offside when the free kick was taken. I thought offside was black and white, but the morons never looked at it.

Took forever to sort things out, players booked all over the shop for protesting.

VAR if not used properly could kill football as we know it. I sooner do without it and put up with occasional human error.

Got the game on silent, Martin Keown is doing my head in with his inane comments. Him and Robbie Savage are both as thick as two short planks and have begger all of any importance to relate.

MC have been pretty terrible so far tonight, another example of their stuttering season. Sterling might eventually do something right as so far he has messed everything up.

De Bruyne back to his best?

My arse, he's a mile away.

Playing like he did when he was at Chelsea.

And Kyle Walker, what on earth is he doing at a supposed elite club. Utter rubbish.

Sane showing Germany what they missed at the World Cup. Stunning free kick.

First thing Sterling does right all night, had to happen eventually. Still gets 1/10 for his overall performance.

Were the penalties and red card justified, budget?

I was making a tea when the VAR goal was disallowed, I caught a replay after and couldnt really see what it was disallowed for... was it offside?

Push in the back. Harsh but by the letter of the law the right decision.

I'm with Budget when it comes to VAR. I'd rather not have it.
