Game has really changed since the break. Australia now hammering at the door ...repeated near things in the last few minutes.

Suddenly the French are the ones under massive pressure. But an hour gone and still no scores...

If Australia go out, they'll really regret all these chances from point blank range

I'd still rather face Australia than France in a SF. I know Australia are the only team to have beaten this England side, but plucky Aussie grit and a baying home crowd can only go so far in making up for the sheer difference in quality between them and France.

It might very well be a moot point anyway.... I'm only half expecting England to get past Colombia if I'm honest. I was horrified at what I saw against Nigeria

besides.... I hate losing to France at anything.... hate it, whereas I'm sort of used to losing to Australia, whether it's football, cricket, netball, swimming, rugby, or non-olympic cycling...... take your pick

Scotland is the only nation I hate losing to.

France getting more of the ball lately but these Australian quick breaks are threatening every time. And the French high balls into the box aren't having any success. Might we be heading for extra time ?

Aussies are certainly looking for penalties now...and so are France as they change the keeper ! Probably a fair call as that lass has looked nervous as all night ...

One last corner kick...and penalties it is.

Always a wretched way to finish a game but no alternative. These two could have played all night without scoring I think
