Not surprised, they were fortunate to get past QOS and Hibs, and a mile away from Premier League standard, reflected by their 6-1 aggregate defeat to the second worst side in that division.

Looks like there was a fight at the end of the match.

Three sent off.

Yeah, not good scenes at the end of the Match.

Rangers really need to improve their standing in the game. They are not a like club, am sure Manchester never wants to see them there again.

Aberdeen 7 wins out of 7 in Scottish Premier. Can they repeat the 1984/85 season when they won it with Alex Ferguson in charge? Probably not.

Be nice if anyone but Celtic won the SPL.

Huge game for Aberdeen on Sunday against 3rd place Hearts.

You'd think with the way Rangers have started the season in the Championship that they will achieve promotion back to the Premier.

However how long will it then take them to get a team which has a reasonable chance of competing with Celtic? After the way they were thrashed out of sight in the play offs at the end of last season you'd think they've still got a way to go.

Wheels are starting to come off for Aberdeen with a 5-1 home defeat to St Johnstone, their lead down to just one point.

A shame really just as Celtic (and Rangers) are wanting to join the English league pyramid, or more to the point the Premier League.

Pretty sure Celtic and Rangers will never be allowed to join the English league. This gets talked about every few years by either one of the old firm clubs. But there is no way the English clubs would allow it. On top of that UEFA would not allow it due to other clubs like Ajax, Porto, Benfica, ext wanting to join other leagues.

Celtic and Rangers would be much better advised trying to put a serious end to the bigotry those clubs breed, as well as doing more to help the SPL as opposed to trying to leave it. The old firm is one of the reasons why so many people in Scotland watch the EPL, the Old firm has killed Scottish football.

Aye, it will be a non-starter by Platini and he wants Welsh clubs in England to play in the Welsh Pyramid system.

Both sets of clubs have their own image problems - one who are known for crowd violence, the other singing sectarian songs and don't display poppies on rememberance day, much likely to be frowned upon by at least the fans of English clubs.

I wonder who will get the brilliantly named Lothian Thistle Hutchison Vale in the next round of the Scottish Cup.

They'll probably get Livingston away, and play at the Toni Macaroni stadium.
