Huge giant killing act by a Championship club beating the most successful Scottish club in the last few seasons.

Livingston relegated to the 3rd tier of Scottish after losing to Stranraer in the Championship play off semi after extra time.

This drop has been coming for a few seasons. The board are meeting to discuss the future. Will probably go into administration again!

Hibs win the Scottish Cup, and the fans come on and trash the pitch and goals. Typical!

Yep, and the Scottish Cup Final riot of 1980 between Rangers and Celtic.

Just to show how far Scottish football has fallen. Hearts loose to Birkirkara 2-1. A team made up of part time footballers from Malta. This was after drawing 0-0 away from home. So hearts have been knocked out of Europe by a team from Malta.

Celtic are playing catch-up again in the Champions League.

1-0 down after 20 minutes against FC Astana in Kazakhstan.

Managed to draw in the end.

The away goal may prove vital.

So Celtic thrashed Rangers in the much awaited league showing. Seems like Rangers have bought in a lot of has beens who were off the pace for the entire game. They had a great chance when they came through the leagues to bring some youth through, but seem to have chosen the path of experienced pros and journeymen from other leagues. Rangers ground is falling down and they really need to change their outlook. It could mean years of pain, but its got to be better than the way they are going now.

As for Celtic, other than their shock loss to Lincoln in the qualifying stages of the champions league, they seem a much better team under Rodgers this year. Back in the group stages of the Champions League, well run off the pitch, and a good fit for manager in Rodgers. It seems that Celtic might well be winning the SPL for a few more years yet. They already have 5 in a row, and in a league that once was a 2 horse race, it appears to have become a team league.

Rangers have been knocked out of Europe by Niederkorn.

Never heard of Niederkorn? They are from Luxembourg, and this is their very first win in European compeition.

Scottish football is still heading down.
