Since the start of the season, when you account for those who have quit or moved clubs, 38 of the 92 PL & FL clubs have changed or lost managers at least once- incredible!

Anyone willing to make bets on which manager will "win" the sack race for next season i.e. the first Premier League manager to face the sack next season.

Tough one, obviously whoever replaces Houllier at Villa ( assuming rumours of his retirement are correct ) will likely be given time, then the likes of Bolton,Wigan, Fulham and Everton appear loyal to their managers.

I cant see a situation where Norwich or Swansea sack their managers, liekwise Pardew is friends with Ashley so his job is probably safe, Daglish should be safe for a while at Liverpool, Wenger or Fergie wont get sacked.

Smart money would be on Warnock at QPR or Kean at Blackburn as both clubs seem to want instant success, or an outside bet of Bruce at Sunderland.

And it looks like Mark Hughes may take over.

I would be pretty happy if I were a Villa fan.

Me too. I can't imagine why Sparky wanted the Fulham job.

There a decent club, good opportunity to get your foot in the door, Villa probably wouldnt be interested if he hadnt of just had a succesful season and more importantly he had a point to prove after being ditched by City.

I have no problem with Fulham itself. I just can't imagine why he would want to work for the Egyptian Grocer.

Early favourites Ancelotti and Hughes- Hughes has done a fair enough job wherever he's been but Ancelotti has real pedigree- especially if he can be reunited with Wilkins, you'd surely have him as main target. No brainer.
