Looks like Gary Monk.

Wonder if he can see out the pre-season.

Season hasn't started and already Kenny Jackett is out the door at Wolves.

Yep after the new owners stated that he had their backing.

Got to wonder if Wolves owners will be as bad as Forest's, Leeds, Blackburns and Blackpools.

Only his sixteenth managerial appointment. I thought Jacket was a half decent manager in that league.

Yeah, seems strange to get rid of him 8 days out from the new season.

BBC stating that the takeover only happened last week. I'm sure if the takeover had happened two months ago, then the sacking would have happened the best part of two months ago.

I'm not going to criticise a new owner from wanting their own man in charge. It's not like they've sacked him three games into the season, and when they're sitting 4th in the table in November. But yes, there is now pressure on them to prove to the Wolves fans that the decision was the right one. By all accounts they intend to spend multi millions before the end of the transfer window, so it makes sense to have in place beforehand the man who will be leading them.

Thanks for everything Pothas. You'll be missed. My nickname for you was apt and I will never forget it. For the last time, arise Sir Nic.
