Longer the proposed takeover with Cellino is stalled, or better still not ratified by the Football League, the better.

Any new manager will have some impact at first. With 10 games left the Geordies should stay up.

I'm not a big Benitez fan, has done bugger all since winning the Champions League in 2005. The odd Cup but no League title even with stints at Chelsea, Juventus and Madrid.
