thank **** for that. Hopeless, Helpless, and Hapless

Too late, of course, he should have gone at the beginning of January

Is it Rafa? No doubt Ashley will get his fingers burnt again... forking out massive money for a bloke who'll doubtless have a get out of jail free card in the event of relegation

I have to say that, of all the names mentioned; Benitez, Moyes, Pearson; Benitez is the only one that interests me, so it feels like a good switch.

good luck to him, btw........ I'm utterly convinced that he hasn't got a clue what he's let himself in for.

I read somewhere that Benitez would not accept the job under Ashley's 'head coach model', so it'd be just Newcastle's luck if they failed to avoid relegation and Benitez walked before getting the chance to change the club into something slightly less shambolic than the one he's inherited

Turns out that Bemitez does indeed have a get out of jail free clause in his 3 year deal, so Newcastle fans had better not get too excited about what he'll bring to the club. He will very likely only be around for 10 games

Remi Garde has been relieved of his duties at Villa.

6 in 2 years. And now no decent manager in their right mind would go there

I'll do it. But I'm not in my right mind.

I received an approach for the Leeds United managers job (on my Football Manager game save), who were relegated to League 1. Peter Lorrimer approached me, offered me a 3 year contract on £6k per week and an annual wage budget of £10 Million.

Turned it down of course and instead signed a new 3 year contract with newly promoted League 2 side Leigh RMI on a 10th of wage and an 8th of the annual wage budget, never regretted it.

They'll be plenty of people who'll do the job, just because of the club and the history.

I look forward to Leeds appointing Billy Davies. They will eventually get round to him.
