I grew up with the odd day every year going above 40. After living in northern europe for many years, i struggle when the temp gets above 25.

Same here Yuppie. I remember thinking - when I was much younger (and skinnier) - that up to 33 degrees was good, anything over that is too hot.

I'd be happy if today only got to 22-3.

Yes, 25 degrees at night is hotter.

at least, psychologically. Sleeping when it doesn't get below 25 is hard, unless you are very used to it, but having a nap on a 25 degree day, easy enough.

If it is 25 during the day, that is moderate, and possibly a drier heat. If it is 25 at night, then it has been hotter during the day, and is often more humid.

on a female note, England striker Jodie Taylor is leaving Arsenal to play for Seattle, after a 6 week loan stint in Melbourne. That might be her England career over

Ang Posticoglou resigns as Aus Football Manager/Coach, just days after leading them to the World Cup Finals.

It would have to be some issue with the management of the game in Aus, surely?

it has been discussed for the past month or so. He had made some oblique reference to it, and then would expand no further until yesterday.

maybe he wants to leave on a high?

it does seem early.... he could have hung around to see if they drew England first, and then gone to the finals knowing there was an excellent chance of leaving on an even bigger high

The Welsh FA's Chief Executive says the new manager of the national side is most likely to be Welsh, possibly foreign but definitely not English.

However he is quite happy that the majority of the team comprises of English players!

And the Welsh FA have instigated disciplinary proceedings against him.

Quite right it's a clear case of racism.

high profile, but not sure its a good idea.

huge pay day for Scolari. It seems Football Australia have mismanaged a lot of money, and perhaps this continues that trend
