watching the confed cup atm
after a terrific first half, the second half is deteriorating rapidly. Quality is dropping, play acting is increasing, tempers are fraying, stoppages are on the rise and now the cards are coming out.
A pity really, but not unsurprising.... it is football, after all
first time I've seen the TMO in operation and using it the ref has given a yellow card to a Chile player who has just smashed his elbow into someones face, which begs the question of what is the point of having TMO if you are going to use it to make the wrong decision?

This should be more straightforward than the game at Wembley.
Two gilt edge chances in the first five minutes already.

Jones in an England shirt
for crying out loud
the only thing sillier than that would be Carlton Smalling playing

Apart from Alli and Cain I can't get excited by this team at all.

I like Walker at RB.
Why was the goal disallowed?

Except there's only eight in this game, still too many for England I guess.
