Although, i don't know how you think he is good as he did nothing at Chelsea. Unless, you watched him at CSKA.

He was sometimes injured but usually wasn't good enough. IMO, he is a poor man's David Luiz! BTW, i don't rate Luiz!

Zhirkov, although a midfielder, played most of his matches ar left back or on the left wing like David Luiz does.

He used to play as a centre back but Benfica/Chelsea use him as a left back who runs down the wing like Ashley Cole.

Yes, in the league. He is either at centre back or on the bench. In the Champions League, he plays right back and once he played on the left wing.

He was there for 2 seasons. That is more than enough time to showcase your talents.
