39%!

thank goodness no-one can go to watch it. Every cloud and all that

If you want to cheer yourself up with how Newcastle play, please go and watch Forest. It truly is a thing of beauty.....

well, the only decent thing about Newcastle is your old goalie, yuppie

I like that Bruce says he won't make excuses about the number of players out because of covid, but then he mentions it after every game. It seems to be 2 players.

I think I heard yesterday morning that both him and Saint Maximin have been back in training, so he may be on the mend

Without ASM, Newcastle have no creativity whatsoever

Seems to have had another blinder against Liverpool. Must be getting close to a international call up.........though his distribution needs to be better.

you'd think the 10 other players spending 90 minutes standing on the goal line would have got in his way

27% possession in this match, which shows how many times the ball must have pin balled off Newcastle legs in the 6 yard box. What's most depressing is that parking the bus is the only strategy available to them

A good keeper can look brilliant when they get lots of work to do.

He'd look good in an England shirt then.... England can't defend either

Steve Bruce has said he thinks it is morally wrong to keep playing football

looks as though he wants to stay in the FA cup longer than just tomorrow afternoon

Marine AFC will be up against it tomorrow..... not only will they have to play a team 161 places above them in the league, but might have to overcome divine intervention too

Government said professional football can continue, which means it'll be closed down in a week.

Well the farce continues at the moment. After a devastated villa under 18 team gets thrashed by Liverpool, I read that Derby v Chorley is on tomorrow in the FA Cup.

Derby's whole first team have isolated after pretty much everyone came down I'll. They sent the kids to Chorley who subsequently provided a number of positive tests. Yet the game continues even though it seems obvious the virus has ravaged derby and many of those players could subsequently develop symptoms (tests only come back positive usually 4 days after infection).

Any Chorley player contracting the virus should sue the FA. I'd flat out refuse to play.

Virus is rife now in the league's, all over. It's time to call it off, this is madness.

Presumably to help compensate for the lost gate receipts that they would otherwise have reasonably expected to get from such a fixture, Marine put virtual tickets on sale at £10 each. They hoped to sell 6,000 tickets which would have beaten the highest ever gate in the club's history, but thanks in some large measure to the generosity of Spurs fans, they've sold 21,000. That'll keep the club going for quite some time, I should imagine... which is perhaps the whole point of the FA cup

Excellent news that. I did see that fixture and thought what a shame it is the boys gt a once in a generation tie, and the club wont sell a single ticket. Good for them

it had gone up to 25,000 by kick off

had fans been allowed they would have only been allowed 500, so it kind of worked out really nicely for them. Whoever came up with the idea deserves a pat on the back and a big box of chocolates
