That's true, but I guess his main gripe is there aren't enough around to be sacked.

Ramsey was given time, i would not have been surprised if he got the sack at the end of last season. A lot of good teams in the championship and QPR acting now to try and keep up with them.

Not sure what Huddersfield are expecting. But he had 57 games to show what he can do, and obviously with a win ratio of 22% Huddersfield decided it was time to try something new.

I am amazed that Freedman has outlasted both these guys this season

Freedman can't last much longer.

I see they've got Derby on Friday, should be a humdinger.

We are playing really poorly, and Derby are flying. So we should win

Freedmans last game i reckon. Powell might well be in the frame for the job at Forest, not sure who else is available other than one younger Clough.

Always thought Powell did a good job at Charlton early on, so maybe not a bad choice for Forest.

Those at Kick Out are not doing themselves or the people they represent any favours by making us v them statements. Nice to hear a respected footballer in Frank Sinclair speaking out in response.

A comparison between English and American football...while there are no black managers in the Premiership, let's take a look at the 36 teams that take part in the NFL.

Black managers...Marvin Lewis, Huey Jackson, Jim Caldwell, Mike Tomlin.

Hispanic managers...Ron Rivera.

In contrast, I can only make out two managers in the English Championship...Hasselbaink at QPR, and Hughton at Brighton.

The Rooney Rule has made an impact in the NFL. There's more to be done, but it's a slow process that seems to be working in the US....

Im interested to understand why you count Ron Rivera in a list of ethnically diverse coaches in the USA, but omit several Hispanic managers from your list of English football? After all, in terms of definition, I believe the definition of anyone being "latino" means anyone that comes from a country that is based historically on Spanish culture or conquest.

So Ponchettino, Pellegrini, Roberto Martinez and Quique Sanchez Flores mean that 20% of the Premier League is Hispanic. And Guardiola is soon to come.

Probably worth noting that all 32 (not 36) teams in the USA are coached by Americans.

The Premier League has 4 English managers.... meaning that 75% of jobs are covered by foreign people. 13 managers are non British.

There is English, Scottish, Welsh, Irish, Argentinian, Italian, Dutch, German, Chilean, Croatian and Portuguese all covered this year. What a success for diversity that is!

Its just a shame that you cant look past people skin colour mike. I am sure Manuel Pellegrini would be quite happy to be told he was just like a German.

Raheem Sterling was allegedly attacked and racially abused as he arrived at Manchester City’s training ground on Saturday morning in preparation for their game against Tottenham Hotspur.

The England forward was believed to have been kicked and branded a “n-----” by a man who appeared to be waiting for the 23-year-old at the players’ entrance at City’s football academy training base, according to sources.

Sterling had pulled into the entrance in his car as he arrived for City’s pre-match preparations, at which point he is believed to have been confronted by the man hurling a barrage of abuse at him.

Telegraph Sport understands that Sterling got out of his car to ask what the problem was only for the man to react by reputedly kicking the City player in the leg.

Hopefully the man in question will be found, named and shamed, and suitably punished by the legal system.
