Tunisia beat Morocco 2-1 in what I think was the best game of the competition so far....
Tunisia's second goal by Yusuf Msaki was a very good individual effort.
Both teams look very well organised, and I wouldn't be surprised to see both of them meeting again in the final.

Ghana looked good in their 1-0 win over Botswana, thanks to a goal from John Mensah, who was later sent off....

One of the pre-tournament favourites, Senegal, lost both of their games 2-1 to Zambia and Equatorial Guinea, so they will go home early....
Newcastle won't be complaining! Denba Ba will soon be back in the Premiership.

Another pre-tournament favourite, Angola, are out, their place taken by Sudan in the quarter-finals....
But new favourites Ivory Coast are looking very comfortable, and in the last eight on Saturday they will face co-hosts and surprise quarter-finalists Equatorial Guinea. In another quarter-final match on Saturday, it will be Sudan vs Zambia.
Tunisia and Gabon battle it out for top honours in their group tomorrow....

Gabon beat Tunisia 1-0 to top their group, and Daniel Cousin (remember him?) is having a good tournament for Gabon, playing the role of goalscorer and provider....
The most impressive team of the tournament so far, Ghana, will try to top their group tomorrow.

Drogba misses a penalty, but still scores a brace, and Yahya Toure adds another, to lead Ivory Coast to a 3-0 win over co-hosts Equatorial Guinea, and a place in the semi-finals....

Ghana had a hard-fought 2-1 win over Tunisia, and Mali edged co-hosts Gabon on penalties after 1-1 in full and extra time....
Roll on the semis on Wednesday!

That's a shame, because this tournament has been very entertaining....
Brilliant strikes on goal (including Mayuka's 1-0 lead over Ghana today, which should take them into the final), wonderful goal celebrations, iffy defending, and hilarious goalkeeping mistakes!

Might have had more interest if it was on a different channel to Eurosport.
Sadly for me with too much football on the box, I only watch a limited amount of games in any competition.

Some of it has been shown on ITV4.

I agree, although, I am watching Hearts-Celtic now, I would normally watch only United and any others which took my fancy, like to watch Arsenal play when I can. But there is far too much of it on these days.

Gervinho scored a wonderful solo effort to give Ivory Coast a 1-0 win over Mali in their semi-final....
I guess it's a matter of personal interest. I found these two semis more interesting and exciting to watch than the first half of the Northeast derby in the FA Cup.
