It (Gabba) went to sleep in the Test Cook, Trott and Strauss batted for 2+ days for a draw. Lively early on though. Shame about the WACA, though small five countries will play there (...ie, not big three...).

I started a thread about WACA memories on the international cricket section....

No. A lot of people said that at the time.

That whitewash probably wasn't quite so bad as the later one. KP, Colly and Cook got tons for starters.

Boult looks well down on pace, and without Southee either this Kiwi attack really lacks a cutting edge that Australia have with two 150k+ bowlers.

It's still a good batting wicket. New Zealand just lost their heads yesterday against a fine spell of very fast bowling.
