Ashwin value himself as an all rounder and want to bat in the top 7 more, would probably bat at 6 or 7 most of the time anyway with Kohli always wanting to pick 5 bowlers.

"West Indies have added Alzarri Joseph, the 19-year-old fast bowler from Antigua, to their squad for the second Test against India, which begins in Jamaica on Saturday. The selectors have made no other changes to the squad, which now contains 14 players."

http://www.espncricinfo.com/west-indies ... 39953.html

WI squad for the Jamaica Test
Jason Holder (capt), Kraigg Brathwaite, Rajendra Chandrika, Darren Bravo, Marlon Samuels, Jermaine Blackwood, Roston Chase, Shane Dowrich (wk), Carlos Brathwaite, Devendra Bishoo, Shannon Gabriel, Leon Johnson, Miguel Cummins, Alzarri Joseph

In: Alzarri Joseph

So, what's the possible XI?

I hope it's this....

1) Kraigg Brathwaite
2) Raj Chandrika/Leon Johnson
3) Darren Bravo
4) Marlon Samuels
5) Jermaine Blackwood/Roston Chase
6) Shane Dowrich
7) Jason Holder/Carlos Brathwaite
8) Dev Bishoo
9) Shannon Gabriel
10) Miguel Cummins
11) Alzarri Joseph

Only one of Blackwood or Chase should play. Only one of Holder or Carlos should play.

IMHO, Holder made a stupid decision....
:no
And at lunch, he must be regretting it. Windies 88-4, with Blackwood out for a quickfire, run-a-ball 62.

I just finished watching the CPL, and switched back. Seeing the score, I'm glad I stuck to the CPL....
:?
The WIndies Test team made less in 50 overs than what the St Lucia Zouks made in 20.
:no
Aside from Blackwood, and to a lesser extent Samuels, there's nothing to talk about in this batting.

Ashwin 5-52...Windies 196 all out.
:clap
