I see the next ODI is in Canberra, which has hosted 8 ODIs, but only three featuring Australia. In all three, Australia have batted first, made 325-350, and won.

Last time Australia played there, Kane Williamson took five wickets v India. It feels like the Aussie team has been in flux since then. They have used 25 players this year (so far).

Joel Paris?

Actually, the previous year, 26 players turned out for the Aussie ODI side, (including nine who haven't featured this year). Including, among the 26, Sandhu, Stoinis and White.

there was a stat during the last test against SA that Australia have used as many different players in the 17 tests Smith has been captain as in the 57 tests Waugh did

the company that makes baggy greens must be doing well

Good early morning rich, pity about the rain let's hope when play starts they'll be no interruptions. Hope Southee plays my FL team needs him.

The last game the BT pictures and sound online were way out of sync so I moved to Star sports, wonder what to expect this morning. The guy presenting the programme in the studio is an idiot.

not been impressed with BT's coverage

they jump back to their own studio alot during play which makes things a bit disjointed and were taking ad breaks in the middle of overs a few times during the SA tests

you got your wish with southee being included

ferguson left out, maybe his fitness an issue with how big the drop in his pace was later in the game

aus leave out the new shane warne for faulkner, so no specialist spinner

NZ not taking the Aussie way of winning in Canberra- bat first and score 300.

Plenty of seam in the two line ups. Faulkner back.

Come on Kiwis.

bit of movement in that first over

conditions look a bit brighter already so maybe going to get the sun breaking thru, NZ might need a few early wickets here

warner edges one just past 2nd slip

that would have been good for my FL, a wicket for boult and warner out early :d'oh:

With the surprise inclusion of Faulkner, Southee is now just a reserve. Pleased about Faulkner he can be devastating with both bat and ball at times.

Calling it a dropped catch is ridiculous though. Warner looks all at sea but if NZ fail to get him early he's deadly.
