That comment has inspired them as Root is bowled. Could be good for England as otherwise Cook will bat till 550 is the lead.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

I'm not sure that they've ever looked overly interested.

Yet.

That ball kept low also, can't see any team in the world scoring more than 300 in the 4th innings of this match.

Just goes to show you can't judge a wicket on the first day. :slap

Stokes needs about 170 unbeaten to get his batting average higher than his bowling average.

Trying to find the largest 4th innings run chase for Cardiff, but not having any luck. Any takers?

I can only remember two Tests. Monty and Anderson batting out the game, and SL being bowled out for about 60 in a session by Swann and Tremlett.

That's it. You could say that no one's chased to win a game in Cardiff... in either game.

SL were bowled out for 82.

Bell and Root both made 60 off exactly the same number of deliveries.

Well I have to get ready for a BBQ this afternoon. You are all invited of course, although without Conchord running these days it will be difficult to make it.

We will be watching the replay of the non LBW appeal for 2 hours and analysing the Australian mind thought.

Falls short.

England have enough, but missing out on a bit of mental disintegration.
