Good start but the Kiwis also had one. Difference being the Aussies know what the need.

Southee and Boult would have been good picks now they're defending a small total.

Well they've got their flying start so it is probably Australia's to lose now. Although NZ did get off to a similar start...

I'm surprised Boult wasn't picked ahead of McClenaghan but Southee has been pretty average for a year now.

Handy start for Santner .

Smiths not heeding Arthur's advice :)

Will be interesting to see how effective the NZ spinners prove : Australia picked an extra spinner and then barely used them...while NZ went with one less of theirs. All suggests some indecision as to the pitch ; but the first two overs for NZ seem to indicate their overs will be crucial.
