There were some really odd decisions made by Williamson all over the shop. Seems bowler selection is Williamson's Achilles Heel.

Also should be noted it is bangladesh first Test series outside Asia/WI since 2010.

7 yrs since they last played outside Asian conditions.

big challenge for Ban here with Mushfiqur, Kayes and Mominum all ruled out - is the fizz also injured because he's not in the side?

bangladesh been bit unlucky with injuries 3 key batsman all injured.
Still a decent effort from bangladesh today.
Sarker 86, Shakib 59 and nurul hasan 47.

Think Fizz isn't match fit or game fit yet they targeting the india Test match.

decent effort for Bangladesh to make 289, partiucarly with the all the injuries they have, im sure they would have taken that when they started batting

Another good day for bangladesh.
suspect the former bangladesh players that are living in NZ are enjoying themselves.

BD are certainly well placed here. Perhaps this time they can push for the win.

NZ have a lot of work to do.

2nd away test in a row that they have got themselves into a good position.

This would be an embarrassing defeat for NZ :rasta

In an age where we accuse Tests of being too one sided Bangladesh are regularly producing combative equally pitched battles. First Bangladesh v England and now this series.

Fighters.

Its taken a while to get here, but certainly there last 4 tests are a good indication that they might finally have arrived.

Forgot this was going on. Henry Nicholls falls two short of a debut Test ton. NZ 65 ahead on first innings. Nicely poised game.
