No batters to bring in. You only really need four bowlers in BD, as the spinners will do so much work. If UK is out, who would come in for Wade?

My guess is they'll stick with the keeper. Not sure about the rest if it.

I'm sticking my fiver on the cricinfo XI as they had it down as probable. I'm not sure I wouldn't pick Jackson Bird though. My team (not the one they'll choose):

Warner/Renshaw/Smith/Handscom/Maxwell/Cartwright/Wade/Agar/Cummins/Lyon/Bird

As much as i dont want to say it, surely Wade needs to play. With no other keeper on tour, dropping him for Handscomb is just crazy. Pick a bad keeper, and then replace him with a worse keeper. And at the same time put more presure onto Handscomb, who will probably fail with the bat.

Australian selectors never learn. :Nooooo

It would have made sense.

Perhaps they thought they could get away with these selections.

Who is next inline for the WK position for Australia. Back to Neville?

Just too late for Hartley. Wasn't there supposed to be an anglo who was next in line?

Im suprised Travis Head has not been around the test team. His one day form has been fine, and seems to bowl well in the shorter game. Worth a shot instead of Maxwell on such a tour.

As for Keepers, ive not been following the Aussie A team. I fear they are trying to shoe horn Hanscomb into the line up as a batsman keeper, and that really wont end well.

So Cricinfo following my instructions :)

But will the tour selectors ? Smith hardly giving Wade unqualified support...

Thing is : if they do dump Wade ; who do they bring in that improves the team ? All gets back to poor squad selection.

Indeed team as expected , O'Keefe and Cartwright for Khawaja and Hazlewood. Bangladesh bring in Mominul for extra batting - don't need two seamers.

Good start for Australia with Cummins tieing down an end and Lyon with two early wickets...21/2 off 14 overs.

Soumya and Mominul restoring a bit of control - fifty up in the 22nd.

No sign of Agar yet. Or Cartwright.
