That 173 feels like a lifetime away for broad.

Although it's probably not a legitimate 100 in a thrown game

If they are going to have women commentators they have to know the game, not use terminology that they've heard but don't understand.

Harsh given she’s a World Cup winner with England in both ODIs and T20. Pretty obvious she knows the game. I’ve heard a lot worse.

of course there are going to be overs unbowled.... it's what test cricket does best

despite 25 overs of spin being bowled

hey... it doesn't matter.... serves the punters right for paying to attend

Root should have called no - he actually paused. As skipper and on 80 it was a big psychological moment- he should have imposed his authority over his Yorkshire mate. Gave Kohli the upper hand in all sorts of ways.

Ian Botham was one of England's greatest ever and he sounds like he knows feck all about the game when he's on commentary.

I don't actually mind her, she does some pretty decent interviews of players after games, just that comment about Rashid being plumb in front annoyed me.

Great fielding, even if a worse throw was out.

Didn't it used to be a thing that Ashwin couldn't take wickets outside of India?

you know you're in trouble when the player sent out for interview states that we'll have to wait until both teams have batted to find out what sort of score that is

clutching at straws.... that is just a poor score, irrespective of what the other team does. I actually thought that 3 of the 5 bowlers used today were pretty poor, rather poor and pigging awful, so to be 9 down is a pretty poor effort

and not for the first time in the last year or two....... rather self inflicted

with kohli in charge he generally likes the team to be patient with the ball and strike in the final session when the batsman are tiring

Well he'll be pleased with six wickets in the last session, though none of them lasted long enough to be tired.
