Advantage England, but a long way to go. We've seen plenty of poor first innings lead to what appear to be sub-par totals that are defendable and defended.

Handscombe out too! Never looked comfortable and this has been super bowling from Woakes and Archer.

Yep. I might have misheard but think the TV commentators said yesterday there have only been two successful run chases of 250 plus in the tournament.

Australia have stopped the bleeding, but they are currently chewing through the overs not really going anywhere.

Maybe think they can defend the sort of score NZ did.

Bit of an acceleration actually over the last couple of overs.

230 is very achievable, and will have Australia right in this.

Probably more comfortable with 250, but that looks someway off considering this recovery has been pretty slow up to the last 5 overs. Anything over 200 would have looked brilliant for Australia an hour ago.

Recovery is well and truly on, but a wicket or two and England are right back in it.

Now the little bit of movement has stopped it looks like quite a good pitch

Ball is coming on to the bat nicely

Both batsmen timing the ball nicely

Plunkett has been terrible though, hes bowled 7 or 8 half volleys in his short spell

This carries on much longer 275 will be gettable

Australia should be comfortably at 130 at thirty overs, then double it to get 260, minimum.

Probably need to get Slapsie Maxie out early to save about 30-40 runs on what is possible.

If Rashid really is injured, maybe Dawson or Moeen need to come in. He's been very expensive in this competition.

I presume he'll take five wickets now I've said that.

Sloppy from England

Been a few missfields recently and lots of easy runs

Badly need a wicket but the level of the bowling has dropped drastically since woakes and archer
