Plenty of batting and Bhuvi only has one over left. A 20 run over from somewhere and England have restored the order.

done and dusted. A valiant effort for 12 overs, but all falling apart now. India bowlers have held their nerve well under a lot of pressure

India flogged the ball to all parts and then for the first half of their reply England did the same. Then suddenly the scoring just dried up, I think England only managed to hit 3 or 4 boundaries in the final quarter of the game. Hmmm....... bit of a puzzle

Was it just about momentum? Can't really blame the loss of wickets because it started before the wickets began to fall. If anything it appears that the lack of boundaries caused the wickets rather than the other way around

Just great bowling?

Terrific series and a terrific series win for India

Based on the scorecards along, it would seem that there was much to admire from both teams over the 5 matches. Good practice for both sides

Will the over worked and over bubbled England players head home for a well earned rest now, or will they stick around for the money shot IPL and save themselves the bother of unwinding/de-bubblising/quarantining?

I think Bhuvi's over made a big difference really - I think Eng felt comfortable before that and there was no need to push as they were up with the socring rate so the over or two before that had been less explosive. Once the wicket fell the game changed - new batters found it difficult to get 12 an over under pressure - apart from Sam Curran at the end who took 20 off 4 or 5 balls.

Really good performance from India - Kohli maintaining his track record of losing more than 90% of tosses in the last 3 years or so by losing 4 out of 5. Eng had a big advantage in the conditions for those 4 games so Ind have done very very well to win the last 2 against the toss - that will give them confidence for the WC.

Yes, Chahar had just bowled a tight over in the one before (despite bowling a couple of wides), so the slide certainly started with those two. They were also the two overs where Malan needed just a couple of runs to be the fastest to 1000 runs, so maybe that was on his mind too, this being his last chance for a while to reach the landmark
