My guess is that if England don't win tomorrow, Pakistan will not *modded* it up against Bangladesh

They've been better.

Having the match finales at 3am my time isn't helping.

I think England will win. NZ's performances haven't been convincing after a good start against the weaker sides and England are capable of a very high level indeed. Still, NZ have a fine attack, and if they get on top they can win the game.

JB1's wingeing has made England a bit harder to like.

NZ seem more likely to win a low scoring game, but are they capable of chasing a 330-350?

Nice day to bat first to see if they can.

I also have England as favourites, and hope they do win. A home World Cup, its good to at least make the semis.

I reckon it'll be Aus/NZ at Headingly, and Ind/Eng at Edgebaston.

Its an intriguing end to the tournament for the knock outs. You get the feeling India and Australia lack a bit of relative firepower when you get a couple of wickets down, whereas England are a team that can hit quick all the way down pretty much to 10-11 if needed for a few cameos.... but then Id say England's attack is the worst in the assumed top 4 teams. India are heavily reliant on their bowlers and their top 3, get Sharma and Kohli early and its hard to see how they can make 300s. Australia are a little similar, feel you get Finch or Warner early and you can pin them back.

I said before the tournament Starc's return would be a game changer for Australia though, and I just have a feeling Australia are a team that always rise to the occasion.... England have a habit of blowing chances. So, despite England's obvious advantages, I just cant see past Australia.

NZ-Tim is in for Ferguson, which is a bit of a blow for NZ. Henry in for Sodhi. England unchanged.

Where is the game

On a pitch with a bit of spin on offer I'd make Bangladesh heavy favourites

Lord's. Pakistan have already beaten SA there in this WC and Shadab took three wickets. But it'd be tempting to go with four pace bowlers there.

Can't see NZ having the sustained hitting power to get the kind of score this is looking like.

Root out and Buttler in. Maybe a good wicket for England.

About time JB2 made a mark on the WC.

Not this time. And three down for 20. England still in a great position.

Though, the Kiwis have pulled them back well. Eng probably won't score over 310 now.

Much better than what it was looking like being.
