From the Guardian. Broad has the most runs from a number ten ever (as of the first innings). Goes past The Superhuman Steyn,

been in England in the lions tour earlier and then was india again for the india A series against SA A, india B and Australia A.

got to say nice to see india doing the A stuff and dravid being the man in charge of all of it and he bascially got the authority to send players to the full team if they do well.

without that not sure Vihari would get in the team or squad doesn't seem to have the backing based on his first class record and doesn't play IPL either anymore.

Suspect vihari booked his place in Australia now and is probably likely to be india number 6 batsman now if pandya does play as a 5th bowler anymore.

Dravid also seem to do well in picking players out of the A squad, can remember quite a few of his picks doing well when in the side.
Jayant Yadav, Karun nair and Vihari and he been instrumental in preparing india seam depth in recent years.
Suspect Mohammad siraj will be in the frame soon done well in the A squad in the past two series.

No backing? The teams batting line up has been tore apart, and rhe guy averages 60 with a 300 to his name!!!!

It took about 3 balls to realise he was lightyears better than pant. With India's bowling attack, I don't quite understand how pant has got a game. Surely he looked equally inept with a bar while in the nets.

Mind pant averages 50 in FC.....and jadeja has scored more domestic trebles than Bradman. Maybe not a good judge Indian domestic cricket

Jennings is completely useless.

Ed Smith making plenty of excuses for him at lunchtime.

That drop from Jennings tops of a shocking series for Jennings.

Didn't he drop Kohli in a previous test before he made 150.

He really is a crap cricketer, and I'm not sure how Ed Smith thinks he is anywhere near this squad in terms of talent. That is his number one criteria apparently and position in the order is less important.

Jennings must be cringing as the deficit drops.

His contribution to this series must stand at around -50.

He's never exactly been prolific in county cricket either. Low 30s average, ripped apart in internationals...what do they see in him.

Might be wrong, but think Malan and cook dropped kohli...

Have to go a way back to remember a series with so many drops too. Both sides have fielded badly behind the stumps
