If we lose to New Zealand by a bigger margin than we beat Bangladesh, then a third washout for Australia would see them qualify at our expense!

This could well be a glimpse into the future for when the new T20 Comp starts in a few years! How regularly is there a prolonged spell of horrendous weather during the summer? It's just not possible to predict the exact period between May and September that it will actually fall...

This is getting a bit ridiculous, and it will be even worse if there's no result between England and New Zealand. Saturday's Australia/England game becomes a straight knockout.

Given the morning start in Cardiff, and the prediction for scattered showers rather than consistent rain, hopefully there will be enough cricket for a result. But losers in rain-interrupted games often (and with some justification) feel hard done by, as the constant on-and-off, chopping and changing of targets etc. can make it very hard to pace your innings.
