What on earth were England playing at? I did notice a comment on crapinfo that England had 1 wide slip to Bumrah, who was on about 5 at the time

England have already lost a home series to NZ. I think they need to lose this series against India and then get humiliated in Australia and then and only then is there even the faintest glimmer of hope that something will change to the domestic cricket scheduling which is at the heart of England's test woes.

Not sure where else they are touring over the winter, but it would probably help if they lost there too
