Broad simply got the Australian batsman's appetite up, so they could feast on the terrible bowling from Stokes.

I mean on a pitch where you win the toss and bowl, to see a bowl bowl not one single ball full of a length on the stumps is pretty rubbish.

Stokes bowled a whole two overs short of a length instead.... which cost him 16 runs

Broad bowled 6 good length balls, 22 short of a length and nothing full
Wood 11 short, 11 good, 2 full
Finn is really the only person to pitch it up a little, but even he has bowled a lot of short stuff past back of a length

Broad is infuriating. He's coming off the best performance of his career where he ran through Australia by bowling full. Next Test he bring his length back.

That said, Australia have by and large played very correctly, one rash moment from Warner, but other than that they've looked solid.
