looks like woakes might have strong competition on his hands for the spot in the team, at the moment not sure he gets into the team.
Toby should be ahead of him at the moment, hopefully england don't do what they did with bresnan and pick a player purely because he was in the team before but it was obvious he wasn't the same bowler or someone else should play ahead of him.

He averaged about 39 in fc cricket before this innings. A lot of West Indians average 30-32 these days. It is about potential and not having options. When you play a knock like he did against PAK, as a coach you need to identify. And Stuart Law is the right man for a team like WI as he recognises potential very early and backs them to the hilt.

And in a few of his interviews, he had backed Hope to come good.

I don't know what made them appoint Law but one of the better decisions taken by the Windies board in the recent past.

I see Stokes has been reprimanded for venting his frustration inappropriately.

Not saying the reprimand was wrong, but I am not sure why Gabriel escaped censure for a similar vent and then send-off of Stokes on day 1.
