I'd still give Bairstow a game. Maybe rest Root. Buttler needs to find form, so he stays in, ditto Roy, and Morgan's captain, so he can't really go.

i'm kinda surprised they called up 2 seamers unless they plan to rest wood or plunkett too

they could just replace moeen and stokes from the team that played yesterday with bairstow and willey

maybe leaves us with just root for cover in the bowling but keeps it within the squad we have for the CT

if any of the three called up for cover get a game and they dont play willey, bairstow or billings as well then it doesn't make much sense

Dawson for Ali, Roly Tobeland for Woakes, Bairstow for Stokes at 5. Not sure why Finn is there unless it's to rest Woody, but not sure that Finn is that quick any more. Willey for Ball perhaps

no need to rest Plunkett, because he's a machine these days, and he doesn't get overworked by Yorks either

it does suggest wholesale changes to the side, which they've earned the right to do, although it isn't an approach that I'd take

Poor old Billings. They surely won't rest Buttler just as he makes his first real contribution this year, and I don't think they can afford to rest the two openers.... Roy because he needs the practice.... Hales because he is in prime nick, so why disrupt that
