3 more sessions like that, and England might just not lose horribly.

Long way to go.

The "morning" sessions have actually all gone quite well for England in this match. What has happened after lunch though :scared

and the post lunch jitters comes about again.

This is looking like 2nd innings Brisbane - Root and Malan giving solidity and hope, then they go together, short of an imposing partnership and any centuries.

Stokes is looking increasingly dodgy today. Hopefully I didn't jinx him (from my viewpoint)

I think there will be a new ball under lights later on, so hard to see the tail doing much.

I've said before and will say again, this is the worst England batting line up in a long time, maybe ever.

Think this session has confirmed 5-0

There is a bonus though in Malan getting runs. That is at least a batting spot settled for the next few months.

They might as well settle for this 3-6 for the near future.

Barely 200 on a flat deck, against a second string attack.

This is beyond pathetic. And worse because it's not at all surprising.

Presume the follow on is of academic interest as Aussies will bat again.

No Cummins and no Hazelwood...no worries. Starc and Lyon have done their bit with some good support from Green. If only he can get some runs.

As BFL says, this has to be the worse English batting line up for a long time. Fair play to Malan and Root, the only batsman showing anything so far. Though both wickets seemed a little to easy.

And congratulations to Harris here.....double figures. Well played :salute
