No real surprise to see Jennings depart in that manner...although in fairness he's batted 28 overs here which along with Burns has given England the sort of start they wanted (and didn't get first time around !)
He's not exactly useless...the man can play quite well against spin. (And is an excellent short leg catcher ). But I really don't fancy seeing him lining up to open against Starc , Cummins & co in a few months. This innings from Burns may be the making of him - and perhaps enable the selectors to cast around for an alternative at the other end.
105/1 is a considerable improvement on the first innings...admittedly not saying much
