Curran batted ok in the first round. 2-5 is the problem.

Someone said scores will be reduced as the competition progresses due to the re-use of pitches. But the vibe says that isn't enough.

Sri Lanka could do with Asalanka coming in to bat now.

Impressive from the bowlers. Not so much from by the batters.

SA opt to bat first. Ahmedabad is a high scoring ground, but we will need to see if this one is a batting wicket as well.

3 down. Dewald walks in. SA has invested heavily in Dewald Brevis. Has been given a good run even though he hasn't done well. Seems to be long term plan as is the case with Tristaan Stubbs. Has not done well in this cup too. He needs to step up in the knockouts of major tournament.

David Miller at the other end is a match winner. SA will hope he steers this innings and posts a formidable target.

99/3 in 11 overs Varun has been smacked in two overs. Washington also was scored off in his one over. Shivam 15 in his only over. The middle overs have been great for SA which has got them back in the match after losing big wickets in power play.
This partnership between Dewald and David has been perfect one for SA.
