And they do. Plunkett is injury prone-whenever he's asked to bowl at full pace for any sustained period he ends up injured. Got a pretty poor fitness record over his whole career. Don't think it ever effects his drinking arm tho.

Ironic that, isnt it. We finally pick batsman like KP and play a style and aggressive brand of cricket that he was basically the only one to advocate, and in doing so this apparently makes him forgettable?

I dare say that the tension he caused in arguing about tactics being so negative contributed a lot to his downfall from the team.... those he argued against have been proved wrong, but are now using his argument to put a full stop on his career? Its almost laughable.

Ben Stokes averages 17.... KP averages 40....

If anything, I am left thinking "if we had KP at 5, or 4 or even in Roy's place opening, what would this team be like"...
