Remarkably , West Indies seem to be putting a few decent days of Test Cricket together ... seems only a week or two ago they were being consigned to the basement with Zimbabwe and Bangladesh

May yet struggle to stay with India as the game goes on - but who knows ? Certainly they are right in it at the moment.

What has happened to revive the home team ? Or has India unconsciously relaxed , thinking they only had to turn up to win ?

never saw what people are seeing in him then again can't see what people are seeing in Vince, to me he looks technically poor yet so many people says he looks a test player or all that crap.

Really I see a vince in Rohit sharma, got a small technical blunder that causes him problems when bowlers bowl good deliveries.

Guessing with more video or tv footage the same thing might have been seen in Ramprakash or Hick.

They may look good but they do get out a lot for low scores and get out to the lamest ways although looking at it properly often the lamest ways is because of their off stump weakness or a slight issue with their footwork/angle of the bat.

And their prettyness often mask this problem.
Rohit sharma not even close to be the most technical batsman in india yet always get classed it.
Really Rahane probably the man at the moment.
Rohit not even the best looking batsman in the team or set up, Rahane, Kohli, Ashwin, Vijay look more attractive with the bat or on par with Rohit sharma only really Dhawan looks ugly with the bat.


Got the same doubt with Unmukt chand, never saw what was so special about him when india won the under 19 world cup and he doesn't even look good with the bat.

footwork not the greatest and he doesn't play the ball below his eye and always at the ball.
actually remind me of Rohit sharma and got a similar flaw that he got and can't explain the flaw so going to look for one of the piece that an indian cricketer wrote on him which explain why he edges or fails a lot and really what he said Vince got a similar issue.

Not the biggest problem but it shown to be a big issue for the players.
wouldn't surprise me if a small issue like this was missed for Ramprakash/hick.

Judgement and patience wouldn't be the reason for Vince to fail in Div 1 and Test cricket an underlying issue on his play the problem.

Well, if you've watched the Tests we've played, it's been exactly Vince's judgement that's been getting him out. He has a similar technique to Trescothick who did well enough at this level.
