Well the England quicks have something to bowl at.

Anderson was not at his best in the last test or the first innings here. He will need to fire in the second innings as im not sure England can rely on another 5 for from Mo.

India pleased to cut off the tail so cheaply. I had a feeling Shami would get Broad first up this morning - he seems to like these wickets either side of a break !

Last pair might have added a few more but unfortunately Sam didn't realize runs were on then...took off too slow and shouldn't have tried the second. England have been a bit wasteful in that innings ; but still set India a tricky target.

I understand this will be the highest successful run chase ever for India in England - if they bring it off.

Place your bets , gentlemen...

If Stokes bats five , then surely he can bat six ? Whether he can keep up his currant streak remains to be seen ; but that seems a reasonable option on present form. Then no need to mess Bairstow around - let him revert to 7 with the gloves.

after seeing yesterday's highlights, I have to say that JB2 looks like a walking wicket most of the time. Dangle the ball on a 4th stump line and he'll have a swipe. Whenever he gets runs he looks as though he got away with a lot on the way there, but maybe that's true of everyone

Good sign for England ! Broad does Rahul for a duck...but perhaps more notably that ball kept really low.. Which is , I understand , something of a pattern for this ground.

Makes chasing fourth innings tough.

Jimmy strikes ...Pujara a big wicket. Had a couple of close calls against Dhawan so he was due to get one...and that just looked out live.

England will be happy to get at Kohli with a still new ball...

If Jonny is still unable to keep , probably yes. But could easily be for Rashid , I suppose.

Dhawan's luck runs out...fine catch by Stokes and it's 22/3 .

This next partnership is just about it for India now...

Fire he does.

I won't be comfortable until this pair are back in the hutch, but advantage England.

JA has stepped up when needed. Stating the obvious, but England need Kholi.

He is Englands leading run scorer in this series. He has ridden his luck for sure, but so have others from both teams.

Whats even more worrying for Englands top order is that Curran is Englands second leading run scorer and has played in only 3 tests.
