Just read that Ali is replacing Rashid (this may be old news to some). I take it he will play in the 2nd test, so who's going to drop out?

Not heard this. Really thought Moeen and Rashid might play together. A bit disappointing. Really don't want two off spinners in the same side, and worth looking at an alternative before the tour to UAE. Though I hope Monty comes back for that tour too.

Monty's time may well be up. With Ali coming back from Injury, I would have perhaps kept Rashid on, and given him a test.

Or just don't send Moeen out and give Tredwell and Rashid a chance in the last two Tests. Although I tend to think Tredwell is a bit of dead end for England. Sending him back wouldn't help his county as he is not able to get in their side.

They'll send three spinners to UAE. Arguably they could play three. Monty, Moeen and Rashid would be reasonable candidates.
