Certainly spin there for Moeen and that wicket of Amla has opened things up for England ...this dry pitch will surely offer more as it goes on - and likely the reverse that rich was speculating about too.

Moeen having a good match so far.

I will be surprised if Dawson is a long term choice. But I confess I am not quite sure what the England selectors are thinking at the moment. Suspect there is a little bit of concern over the fitness of the main bowlers ; but I may be way off with that theory...

The dawson selection baffled me, and must do wonders for the confidence of Rashid, who actually bowled pretty well in the main in India
