Captain Steely wrestled with a SL player after JB got run out backing up, and no one at the ECB was bothered. So they'll just stir everything up if they do anything. Maybe the match ref though. Not seen it.

It's good to get the ODIs done first. They add interesting foreshadowing to the Test series, whereas, staged afterwards they struggle for relevance.

Encouraging for Ball, and Rashid continues a good year.

As I've probably said before, encouraging performances from the seamers cast doubt as to why the selectors are so unimaginative in nominating the spinners. Seamers give way because of injury and fatigue, but replacements have tended to be encouraging. But the rotation of spinners is very limited, and the county options are unlikely to get the kind of opportunities Plunkett, Ball and Woakes have had. I feel this may betray some preconception by the selectors.

Deja vu all over again...it seems that certain England players don't like it when opposing team players celebrate an unexpected victory. Stokes and Morgan in the World T20 final, now Buttler and Stokes again yesterday...once again, Stokes is a key whinger once more. I've never been a fan of his since the T20 final, and I see he's as predictable as clockwork.

When I see this sore-loser behaviour, it just makes me want to congratulate Bangladesh on their victory....

whenever I watch the Ryder cup, I find the sight of Ian Poulter arm pumping and jumping up and down perfectly acceptable, but Patrick Reed irritates the sh1t out of me when he does it.

I hate over celebrating, just no need for it. Whenever a team or individual I follow wins at sport I immediately look for the handshake, and feel very uncomfortable when it is slow in coming.

A few England players had things to say to BD players over the two matches. If you are prepared to do that, then dont complain when you get it back the other way. I do get the feeling that a few England players like a chat. And that when they lose they are the first to complain about etiquette.

I've not seen the incidents from the game, but it sounds like Buttler was met by a barrage of aggressive and intimidating behaviour.

Although not pleasant either the odd dig in the earhole isn't quite the same.

I don't understand either form of bad behaviour and find it infantile and utterly pointless.

Tamim Iqbal went shoulder to shoulder with Jonny Bairstow at handshakes, hence why Ben Stokes reacted. Nothing wrong in looking out for a fellow team player.
