This is working so far.

India nearly 100 into a partnership with England shackled to an old, tattered ball.

All to play for at the Oval.

;)

With about 5 to get.

Tail starts after this

Fifty for Kohli.. Phenomenal series.

Wonder what the most runs for India in a series over here is.

I would have India as favorites here.

Yeah, but the more runs down, the more root has to act to protect the target.

Halfway point. I think India would have taken this despite the carnage earlier

Second behind the Wall in 2002.

Should go past that total though.

King Kohli has the record for India at home to England too.

Sunny G has the best records home and away, phenomenally both against WI (though the away record was in the Caribbean in 1971, before the great attacks). Then Kohli in Australia.

Pant has looked way out of his depth so far. In inclined to think he may as well have a hit

I hope India pull this off and go into the final test all square

England have been so bad (Santiago and Broad apart), that winning this series 3-1 or 4-1 would be a travesty

go into the final test all square and it will be hard for the England management to put sticking plasters on the wound, this time around

Kohli gone, I see

looks as though England might yet find one last sticking plaster tucked away in the corner of the medical bag

India halfway though. Just takes one batter to hold the innings together. Do what Virat normally does. Rahane is settled at the crease now.

Tea. Very tense.
