first time this test i have not been happy with Root's captaincy, not bowling either Broad or Anderson after lunch and letting Smith and Cummins get going again against the lesser bowlers

Objectively a gripping test match - each time one side seems to get their noses in front, the other fights back. But as an England support, it's getting frustrating seeing England do well, only to not follow it up.

Very odd wicket. Once a batsman has got in, it's really hard to force them out, but it's also very difficult to score off if the bowling is tidy. Wickets coming in clusters for both sides.
