Arthur Crabtree wrote:Sunny day tomorrow, should be good for batting overheads-wise. Erratic bounce though.

Cook has a good recent record batting second (last two years). No one else has. In 28 Tests, three hundreds shared between two players (Cook and Stokes).

Wow. Good stats AC, and yet more evidence of the current problem.

Probably a more relevant statistic is when did England last bat 2 days in the 4th innings of a test match? You have to go back to a timeless test in 1938 in Durban.
It'll be some sort of achievement to take this game into the 5th day.

Any response or do people only attack me when my stats are wrong.

Warne talking gibberish again

saying that looking at the England batting lineup that apart from Root there is no-one that can really hurt you, yes they might make a big score but cant really hurt you

Gonna be a long day

Will be slightly surprised if it goes to a fifth day

This is probably the best I have seen morkel bowl, consistently hitting a good full length

Put rabada back in the team and it's a very strong bowling line up in these conditions

Yeah utter waffle

Other than the top 3 every player is a strokeplayer

And he was dramatically underestimating bairstows ability as a batsmen

i got the impression he just blurted out a random thought, realised he was struggling and just waffled for a bit, trying to backtrack

Always looked too high to be overturned

They really shouldn't lose a review for that

See Jennings failed again. Hard to know what to do with him, seemed a bad pick to begin with, put has a score from India. Raises an awkward question of how long is enough to give him. End of series? Longer

I have seen enough myself, doesn't appear to have the defensive or attacking technique to play this quality of bowling

I imagine they will give him the series
