So England win the toss and bat.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Cricinfo lists England with 12 players. Mooen is out. Hales is down to play but hasn't come in at three, so maybe he'll open in the second innings, if there is one.

England have five pace bowlers, but not Rashid. Patel plays. Taylor rests.

Mo is out, as in, he's been dismissed.

Never fear, we still have an opener out there who was awarded a slot in the PCA awards XI team last week...... an award that would probably made Kim Jong-un blush collecting.

A minute ago Bell was batting, now his name has disappeared and Cook is out there on his own. So maybe the info is all wrong.

Now the full squad is down to play.

Has anyone else's cricinfo front page broken down into a list?

First the PCA award, and now Cricinfo has Cook batting every ball and scoring every run while playing without a partner.

The ECB's cult of personality with Cook is going a tad too far.

Solves the opener problem though. Moeen and no one got an equal chance, and Mo blew it.

Will we all have to have our hair cut like the dear leader?

Mo has gone again. This experiment isn't working.

I'll check later.

The Grand Leader probably didnt agree he was out and he can bat again.

I am expecting 1332/2 at the end of the day, with Cook not out on 807....

This is normal service for cricinfo for warm up games. The info comes from a news service and is always somewhat erratic.

It appears most of the A team are left arm bowlers.
