Must have really impressed on that aptitude test

wanted to say this yesterday but didn't if I was leach I would be more annoyed not getting picked on Emotion/attitude or what ever crap ECB say about him then not being picked for cricketing reason.
I could take not being picked for cricketing reason but it is a kicking in the backside not being picked on other reason especially when the press repeat that dross after Dawson looked ordinary with the ball.
You sense that will be repeated until leach actually plays for england.

an average of 114 and a s/r of 228

Thank god for Andy Flower.

I mean who else would watch the lad taken apart on a Lions Tour, along with James Vince, and then suggest afterwards tht his worst two performers were actually the most ready for test cricket???

Throw in Dawon and was have some magic figures of 1/250....

Thanks Andy

TBH unlikely to play much when Rahane/Rohit comes back.
made it hard to drop him from the squad though.

Well Flower would just say Dawson scored 70 or 80 odd with the bat and looks like a good batsman.

You need to take into account that India batsmen have shown more skill and spirit than England when criticising England's bowling on this pitch.
Work expands to fill the time available, so why do today what can be put off until tomorrow.

Don't think anyone has KN in the FL.

Red jr should win with Adil's runs though I think. Unless Stokes scores tomorrow.

Might bat to close and give themselves a day to defend essentially at target of 250-300, depending on how many overs we get in.

Also for a dead rubber, India might let Nair see out his innings.... 300 not that far, could be at it by close.
