Amidst the euphoria, it is likely that Morris' contribution of 69 on debut will be somewhat overlooked. It was a crucial partnership and they both played very well.

I noticed Marcus Trescothick used the term 'abuse' when describing England's 'sledging'. I'm not sure if he meant that literally, but his demeanour suggested he was pretty unhappy about it and the word may have slipped out mirroring his thoughts.

Anyway at least they applauded the century.
